Project Description:   Ideally this event will take place where different socioeconomic groups can benefit from pet wash and humane education.  We can take donations for dog washing and provide leashes, collars and flyers on different pet care advice.  We would also like to spread the word about Friends for Life and the nokill movement in Houston.
Material Requests: Dog Shampoo, Leashes, Collars, Identification Tags, Buckets, Sponges, Towels, Temporary fencing, Legal Waivers
Resource Requests:  Facility (Pet supply/training store-or at the minimum a business with a parking lot and hose bib), Dog Washers, Flyer distributers and other advertising/marketing assistance, FFL adoption volunteers/foster animals.
Event Planning Requests:  We need a legal advisor to draft a waiver alerting volunteers, foster animals and public that itscool2care, friends for life and any other organization or individual involved in the event is not responsible for any injury (pet or person) and that the pet owner is responsible for safely securing his/her pet during the process....and any other legal advice/content.

about the organizer:  ENVI is a small group of individuals seeking to improve all environments.  Currently there are 15 members with groups forming in various high schools in the Houston area.  Their interests and project ideas are widespread.  Look for other project proposals and opportunities coming soon.  "From helping animals to picking up trash, we want to help the community as much as possible and show them that we are the future!"
about the benefactor:  Who are we? A dynamic 6 year old non-profit made up of veterinarians, lawyers, business people, architects, physicians, educators and trained shelter staff committed to offering Houston a real alternative to shelters that kill homeless animals. What are we doing? This visionary non-profit has saved hundreds of animals through our innovative adoption, rescue, rehabilitation, pet retention and animal food bank programs. Where are we? PetSmart Adoption Center at 2902 S. Shepherd at the corner of W. Alabama Adoption hours are 5:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and 12:00-5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
